Thigh extension too long for some?

My wife, drove my new Max yesterday for the first time. She said the thigh support on the front of the driver's seat was projected too far forward for her even when it was set at the most posterior position. When I looked at her in the driver's seat, she seemed to be correct. The back of her knee was right up against the front of the thigh support. She is 5'6". Anyone else feel the same? Thanks, Dave

She is probably correct. I found the seat to offer the most thigh support out of any other car or truck we have owned in the last 10-20 years. The reason I find the driving position so comfortable.

Would adjusting the base of the seat, with the seat positioning controls, so that the front of the seat is a little lower than she currently has it, reduce the pressure on the back of her knees and make it more comfortable?

Was your wife able to find a comfortable driving position with the seat? I'm very interested in a '17 Maxima SV but I too had the same issue. There are so few used S base models in our area. I
