Looking at a number of used Maxes online, I keep seeing something that I find confusing. On at least 3 different cars, I've seen "around view" camera images that appear to be upside down. Like in he attached image, the left side camera seems to be upside down?
The left side camera is the rear cam. If you have around view, the right side of the screen is the birds eye view input from all 4 camera sources, wheres the left side of the screen is solely the reverse cam.
Nothing is upside down that I can tell from these photos, and it looks exactly like my '17 Platinum looks when I put it in reverse.
Thanks for the reply. Actually it's the left side camera on the right side of the screen that I'm wondering about. The image doesn't seem to fit what is being shown on the other 3 sides of the car. That picture is just one example of many I've seen online.
I've done a few test drives so far but have yet to try backing the car into a spot like this. Seems kind of confusing but maybe it would make more sense in motion
I get it. It looks like he opened the door and put it in reverse and then took the picture with the door still open. What you see in the left image on the birds eye is the front left side of the vehicle.
I took on of mine. I’m parked in my garage right next to my wife’s Pathfinder. So when I have it in reverse and the door wide open, you can see the front left wheel of my car.
The other wheel is the car next to me. It looks funny cause the door is open so it “distorts” the image.
