16 Maxima SV

Most likely will be purchasing 2016 Maxima SV today. It has 35k on it, what do you think i should watch out or look to service at that mileage in order to keep everything smooth. Is there a dealer scheduled maintance? Would i have to pay for it and how much? Keep in mind i am getting car cheaper from auction so doubt they have done any of maintance requiered. Also, what are some good links to buy better headlights and fogs? Also will need roof and trunk lip, something that SR models have.

It’s already out of warranty at 36K miles. You might wanna run vin through car fax and see what services has been done. For the headlights you can just change bulbs to LEDs I think H11s for low beams and H16s for fog lights( you will need 2 sets of H16s for each side)

I think the power train warranty is still good for 60k miles at least, just not the full warranty. Probably won't hurt to get the oil changed right away. have a good look at the tires too, with that many miles it might be about time to change em

Good advice! Go to your local Nissan dealer and have them run a repair report and a recall report while the oil is being changed. (tire rotation is a good idea) Of particular interest you should verify that the the master cylnder recall was performed. If not that will also get you a free brake fluid change which needs to be done evey 20,000 miles according to Nissan.
