just bought a 2017 Maxima used, no SD Card..... what are my best option for buying and programming the card/nav system? local Nissan dealer wanted $150 for the card and $135 to program it.....I just walked out.....

I'm reading several forums and it appears buying a used card online is a waste of $50 or so...too much risk of it not working....

 

I went through exactly the same situation, word for word but I bought a 2018 SL. I grabbed the make, model, month and year. Then I went to the official ( www.nissanoempartsdirect.com ) Nissan parts site and obtain part #. I made sure to put in my vin# so the site give me the correct part. I was missing sd card and I found the part # the way I explained before and I was able to find one on ebay for $30.00. Everything works like a charm. I have a 2018 Max SL. And I apologize if I overstep. Thanks
NOTE: Make sure it's an official NISSAN sd card. NOT aftermarket.
