Illuminated Kickplate install (DIY?)

Anyone bought the kickplates (and service accessory connectors) and did the install themselves? Reading through the install instructions and some of the wiring diagrams makes it look harder than it is I'm sure.

Are the plugs already there from the factory? Personally, If I can do it myself, I do. Dealers break clips and do not replace. You dont find out until it surfaces a month down the road and they say they did not do it..... I would tackle it on my own. I replaced the ones in my Altima with the OEM Billet plates. Very easy, but there was no wires. If the plug is there, it will be fairly simple.

This is way too much hassle for the benefit. I would pay someone to do this, if I cared.

They do look great. Had them on my 2016 and knew I better do the same for the 2019. For you and me the install would be a pain but many of our readers have the patience and skill to get it done.
