Electrical issue with A/C

Maybe like a week or two ago my A/C out the blue stopped blowing cold. I'll have it on 60°F and it doesn't matter if the A/C button is engaged or not, hot air comes out of the vents. I got a R134 kit with the gauge from AutoZone thinking it needed a recharge, but it was full. The mechanic confirmed the same. My mechanic also said the A/c compressor was engaging so that wasn't the issue. They kept my car and tried to diagnose it from Friday to Monday and ultimately deemed it an electrical issue.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Could be an AC valve that switches from heat to cool which is electrically activated. Surprised there is no fault code though.
