Looking to swap my 2017 S lease with a 2019 S lease - need advice
Currently I have a 2017 Maxima S and I am looking to do an early lease swap with a 2019 Maxima S, what would be a good price before title, taxes and registration? I've seen as low as 25.5K in FL and 27.5K in MN, without any negotiation, those are internet prices at the respective dealership site, I can buy it at either location. I think I have negative equity with my 2017 S lease of about 1K even having only 12K miles. I have 12 months left in the lease.
The other thing I have noticed is that the 2019 doesn't have HomeLink, Fog lights and Navigation, I do have all of them in my 2017, what else am I gaining with the 2019 to make the swap valuable? Maybe there are more things I am loosing?

You're losing nothing. I have a 2018 SV, bought brand new. If you like saving money, keep your 17. If you wanna go bold, wait for 2020 or 2021 and see if it's worth it.
I think the 2019 has led standard and more safety tech. IMO fogs and nav are useless features, so I wouldn't care about losing those. OTOH I see no good reason to swap early.

The dealer called me and they are willing to match my current lease payments with $0 down and receiving my current lease as trade in with no penalty to me. This seems to be more interesting.
Why are you leasing the S model? I thought the whole point of leasing is to get into something with plenty of features, but not pay the full finance rate.. I'd get a price on an S so you have a base point of reference, then get lease quotes for a few upper trim models, including the Platinum. I think you could get into an SV or SL for maybe $10 more a month and get back some of those features you're looking for.
You say you have 12 month's remaining. Actually Nissan will allow you to turn in you car after the 34 payment. Nissan will eat the last two as long
as you lease again. I would wait !

I agree with this. Go up to the sv. It's slightly more every month for alot better options. I test drove both an s and sv, and for 20 dollars more a month, the sv was well worth it

Dealership is offering me a 2018 Platinum brand new for 29K, is that a good deal?
Kelly Blue Book - prices the 2018 Maxima Platinum from $35960 to $39531 with a average selling price of $37746.
My 2018 Maxima Platinum trade in is 26,834 to 28883 with a average of 27859. So I think there in the ball park.

I’d say that is a very good deal assuming it is really brand new and not a demo with a ton of miles on it. A brand new platinum at that price is a great opportunity for you to upgrade into a top of the line model.

They have two, one with 31 miles and the other with 10 miles
I left the 20" Wheel's (2 year's old w/lot's of wear) the tints and the pillar's wrapped. i paid $65 for the 3M wrap, i did the labor. The wheel's cost me $2K w/ tire's and install 27K miles on them and the tint's cost me $250 the same day i drove the car out the lot and the mileage was 32K on the dash when i traded it.

Pretty much new cars for all intents and purposes, definitely nod demo cars. Either of them would be an awesome deal at that price, for a top of the line, loaded, new Max. I would go for it immediately. I paid $30k OTD for my new 2018 SV back in November, and I though that was a great deal, but yours is much better.

There is no way on green earth anyone will give you a 27k on a trade for that car. They are worth 19 TOPS on a trade in mint condition. My 17 SR with 60K miles im getting 12-13K offers on.

While I don't think he'd get 27k for a Platinum, I think you might be off a little. I just checked the trade on my 18 sv and it was 18.5k. I think once you hit that 45-50k miles mark the values really drop

I would strongly recommend not doing this. From a financial perspective, leasing the same model of car, just slightly newer, just means you're going to take the depreciation hit again. I don't think that enough has changed between the 2017 and 2019 to justify upgrading. I would recommend looking at all other car options as well if you're going to consider getting out of your lease early.
