So has anyone taken advantage of this free offer? Feedback on whether the software has improved from the initial new car trial?

I signed up, but I still don't use it much. I see no improvements to the app, it's still crap. But hey... free is free.

Don't forget to cancel the service just before the trial period ends. I am assuming they would start charging after the three months.

In my opinion, the software is beyond lame. No intuitive way to navigate from one section to another. I would almost pay them to keep that crap away from my car.
My 2019 has built-in spyware I can't shut off. (Tried through the menu but even after shutting off what is offered, as disclaimer still pops up say there will be "limited" car to Nissan communication) I get these monthly reports with car status and current mileage. Bet they are also tracking us geographically as well. The 2019+ also have the ability to link to WIFI if you set that up and when that occurs an info dump might occur going to Nissan.

wait - there's more... 1) it was the wrong car (my PRIOR Maxima), and 2) the site is broken (https://www.nissanusa.com/connect.html)
