Hi folks!

im from Saudi Arabia and I have a 18 SR maxima but it doesn't have Apple CarPlay (the dealer doesn't help), so I was thinking on buying a head unit from eBay/amazon but im a bit afraid it doesn't work here. please advice me

Sorry but I'm guessing most of us are from the Americas and know zilch about Middle East Maximas. Maybe someone will come along who can pitch in.

 

thank you for the reply, im 100% sure it will work but i have no clue if the maps gonna work in Saudi
i mean the roads and routes .. etc (
other features will work im sure)

 

I thought I had same issue till I found sd card with the manual and once I put it in slot it started working

 

No, it won't work... You don't have the wiring harness in your USB port so your existing USB port won't work with the newer head unit. Nissan has a strange way of screwing people over who are willing to pay to use the updates from newer cars on previous models. If it's anything like the 2017 and 2018 Altima, it won't be plug and play.
