So I tried reading most of the discussions about lowering the 8th gen. But I’m not sure if this issue was solved or discussed. Bought and installed Eibach pro kit. Now that it’s lowered, the sonar is way too sensitive when under 6mph.

obv I know I can go back to stock to avoid this, but I tried calling a local Nissan and they told me there’s nothing I can do (which I feel like is a lie since they tried to tell me they couldn’t jack my car up that I lowered it)

So has anyone solved this issue? There has to be a way to calibrate these sensors and adjust them, I can try another Nissan dealership but wondering if anyone fixed there or are just dealing with it.

 

You go into your dash menu there's a sensitivity setting and you can actually turn off your driver assist if that's what you're referring to as sonar... Mine sits five and a half inches off the ground on coilovers and I don't have any problems with it

 

Yea I turned all those settings off now seems to be fine now. I tried that before and it still beeped so I put it back to normal. But since you it’s been fine for you, I stuck with it for a few days and seems to be no issue now. I mean it would be nice to have those features still work, not that I need it. Just been extremely cautious driving since I bought this car in May 😂. First new car and I put a lot of work into it so far.
