Hey everyone.
I’m new to the site and Just bought a 2017 Maxima SV. I haven’t came across it yet here on this forum so I’d figured I’d ask. My 2008 Tacoma has a mod where I can turn on my Fog lights on at anytime while the key is on, also stays lit when the brights are on. Looking to do the same thing.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on links or any info if this has already been done?

why would you want to do that?

 

I have a 16 Maxima Platinum, I'm not sure if they all work the same with the light settings. I have found that I can't turn the fog light on and off, I can only turn them off when the vehicle emergency brake is on.
So basically if I go and park and I want to turn off all my lights I obviously turn off my headlights. And to turn off my fog lights I put the emergency brake on and turn the car off and on again and they all stay shut off.
Let me know if anyone finds a way to turn off the fog lights without having to do that.

Are you talking about the fog lights or the daylight running lights (the V notch white lights) The fog lights are underneath the headlights. And I've accidentally found the same procedure as you stated above but that turns off the daylight running lights. The fog lights I can turn off with just the extra twist button next to the main headlight controls on the stalk.
