questions on '16 maxima purchase
hey guys
i bought my maxima in Feb. this year and less than a week after warranty ran out I noticed an issue with the front camera on the nissan emblem wasnt working when I put it in birds eye view
I really cant say if it ever worked from what I recall
is there any way to diagnose this?,using the info screen or any other ideas
also is this cameras function only for the 360 view?
another small concern when sending a email is there any way to remove the part where it says in the email ''sent from my maxima'',,that drives nuts seeing this on every email,lol

Could be that the front bumper was removed before you bought it and the camera just needs to be reseated at the connector. Otherwise, start shopping for a replacement camera thru Ebay from a junkyard. Don't buy anything later than a 2018. They did change the head units in 2019 to a different vendor

I can tell from your question "also is this cameras function only for the 360 view?" that you have not taken the time to read about this feature in your 2016 Nissan Maxima Owners Manual. If you don't have a copy in your glovebox, you may download a copy at no charge here:
