Hi everyone.

I just registered as a new member. Great to be here. Have owned many Maximas and Altimas. Am now driving a 2020 Maxima SV and love it.

I would like to change the in cabin microfilter on a 2020 Maxima but not exactly sure where to locate it. Manual says to have dealer do it but I've always done them myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The filter is located under the glove box, behind a 6X1" door. There are a number of Utube videos showing how to do this. Its pretty simple once you locate the filter door.

Not sure it is that simple. I tried several times but end up having the dealer do it. This is the worst access point for a DIY task.

I can be done if you have a lot of patience. I would suggest buying two just in case you smuck one up putting it in. Since the vehicle is a 2020 there probably isn't a lot of miles on it. If you change it after one year I'll bet you'll wait and not change it again until after 3 years.

Thank you Richard. Same location as a 2015 Altima I had. Not that easy but also not too difficult if I remember correctly. Thanks again.

Yeah its right behind the glovebox along the center console, it's in a really awkward spot and my arm always cramps when I change it on mine lol

Has anyone ever tried removing the passenger seat so you wouldn't have to contort so much?
