Delayed Engine Stop

I have a 2017 Maxima Platinum. I’ve had it since November 2022. Whenever I press the button to turn it off, it has about a 2 second delay from the time I press the button to when it actually turns off. Sometimes (though very rarely) it will suddenly turn off immediately when I hit the button. Only works for like 2 times and then it goes back to the delay. There is no delay or issue when cranking the car, only turning it off. It has done this the whole time I’ve had it. I do realize that most will think this is trivial, as it’s not causing me any legitimate problems. I have gotten used to it now so it isn’t a huge deal, but when I first got the car it drove me insane every time I turned it off. Although it’s not bothering me as much, I’d still absolutely love to get it fixed. Otherwise I love the car. Just wanted to see if this is normal for this generation of Maxima, or if anyone else has noticed it happening. I just assume it isn’t normal because I have a 2008 Altima that I don’t drive anymore and it never had this. I have searched and haven’t found any other reports of this happening, so either my car is the only one that does it or I’m the only one that notices and cares. Thanks for any input.

Not something I have encountered in my '19 SL.
But strangely that is exactly my experience every time when turning off my daughter's Jeep Cherokee L.

Hmm… very strange. It’s not something that I’m willing to spend a lot of money on to fix, but if there was a solution I’d love to know about it. Unfortunately I don’t have a clue where to even begin to solve the problem. I’ve ordered a whole new center console bezel with the cupholders and everything because the previous owner (foolishly, in my opinion) spray painted the one in my car, and did a terrible job of it too. Apparently they didn’t like the silver trim around the shift **** so they made the entire thing black. The new bezel comes with a new start button in it already, but I certainly don’t have high hopes that it will fix the problem. Especially since it doesn’t do anything strange when starting, only when turning off.

Definitely not normal for this gen. Both mine and the rental I had a while back turned off pretty instantly
