Help!

I have a 2018 maxima....no problems really until now. I was passing a car on the interstate, when my car suddenly lost power. I was still going, but I didn't have that punch anymore. I made it a good 65 miles without any problems, besides no punch. But when I shut the car off, it wouldn't stay running anymore. immediately shuts off. All the fluids are good. A few months ago I was thinking maybe I had an electrical issue....sometimes the car would be dead...zero power...did nothing when I step on the brake. That would last anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. Anyone have any ideas what this could be??

Sorry to hear lisajo.

Unfortunately, it sounds you may be having alternator issues like others have experienced: https://maxima.org/forums/8th-genera...-out-soon.html

I really don't think it is the alternator....but I could be wrong. I'm leaning toward the throttle positioning sensor. The symptoms of that are exactly what my car was doing. No dash lights came on whatsoever. I have yet to put it on a scanner, but plan to soon

OK, code P0101 comes up....which is a mass air flow sensor. But I accidentally cleared the codes and it doesn't stay running long enough to get any codes now. I think there was more.
