It started a few days ago and has progressively gotten louder. Never had any issues with the car and I get oil changes done frequently. 2017 Maxima SL.

 

It sounds like you might have debris in your ac vents. I had a similar sound when I turned on my ac/heat unit. The difference is only noticed the noise while I was inside the car. It never occurred to me to listen if it was outside also. But I fixed it when I replaced my cabin filter. Cleaned out then bay and the sound went away.
