Plasti Dipped Maxima

I am thinking about Plasti dipping my entire car, 4th gen Maxima. I'm thinking of a blue and black mix like this car:

Has anyone done or seen a Maxima entirely painted with plasti dip? Thoughts?

I used the spray can of plasti dip not the actual gallon dip.

Not sure exactly how long it took. It was a while ago. I think I did four coats and waited like 40 minutes between each coat.

If you do it don't do heavy coats because it will run. Just do simple multiple layers.

I think I did two wheels with one spray can. Prob would get three cans or fours for touch ups later in the weeks to maintain the look.

New neighbors have two cars with dipped wheels. And just for that, I don't like them.

Not to mention it stains and the texture is ugly up close. I use it for electronics projects and situations where it serves a purpose, for that it's great. But if you're going to shoot the body with something, choose paint.

Did my wheels with the white, came out a lot brighter than I thought it would've, but I love how easy it is to use.

What does a paint job have to do with emissions?

If you are close to New Jersey, check out Jersey Dips. I offer services, but I'm in Colorado.

Sorry to be digging up old posts but here is my rattle canned 00 se.

Just dipped the ENTIRE car red with the grill flat black, Going to do the side marker lights black soon. The rims are dipped black then glossified.

Glossified black rims with the yellow caliper. Hmm feeling the need for a BBK already..
