I have more sets in stock. $60 shipped for the brackets. Rings no longer required. But you must use rotors redrilled to the Nissan stud size. Automax in the GD forum sells them like this

For those who have done the Q45 caliper install with Jeff's brackets and the Cobra Rotors, I would be interested to know what wheel clearance you all have. I want to upgrade to the 13" BBK but I don't want to use spacers with my I35 Sport 6-Spoke 17"x7" wheels. Anyone else have wheels like this with a BBK installed? Let me know.

Thanks.

Well you have to imagine the new placement of the caliper after the bracket is installed. ie.. about 2-3" out towards the id of the wheel. Also the brackets will move the caliper OUT about 10mm. So if you have more than 10mm of clearance now (but where the caliper WILL be), you stand a good chance at clearing.

A picture would help

It appears that Automax (IIRC) is selling pre-drilled rotors so the rings aren't necessary. Has anyone installed them on their car yet? My rings seem to have fallen off the face of the earth and I would like rotors that fit properly, so I'm thinking of getting the pre-drilled rotors. Any thoughts?

Automax has been selling the pre-drilled versions for a few years now. I haven't read/heard of any complaints yet. You could try to get your existing ones redrilled if yours are still in good enough shape to justify the costs.

Yeah, I thought about that, but it looks like it would cost about $100 to have them redrilled or $170 for a new predrilled pair. Since I need new pads, I might as well just spend the little extra and get new ones

I believe the 350Z 17s will work. But I don't have a pic to prove it. But I do know 350Z 18s/coupe 18s/coupe 19s/350z track 18s and the 17" 1997 Ford cobra wheels will clear. Because that's what I've run.

I have the brackets but the rings are no longer available. You must now use redrilled cobra rotors from automax. Fortunately he sells them at a great price.

Won't work. completely different mounting and suspension design. That would have been too easy.

I've been looking around and can't seem to find any brake pads more aggressive than the Hawk HPS for the Q45 calipers. Does anyone know of some more track oriented pads?

Will this setup clear oem 03 17s? Also is the 2 piston q45 caliper setup a lot better then the 6th gen bbk (one piston calipers).

The Q45 setup has the best chance but I can't remember if it will clear or not. My guess is yes
