im kinda biased but, my jic's have a really smooth ride when on the softer settings. and a really sporty ride on the stiffer ones. which granted is how its supposed to be. but they do a very good job imo.

Are you sure your dampers are blown?

If they're not, you might want to just order softer springs for them...

If price isn't an option, i'd say JIC's.... can't beat that monotube design

But does it worth it installing something like this on a chassis with such a low potential?

That's probably the reason why they don't make them for Maximas.

no..it's cause there is no market or demand...not many maxima owners on here would buy them...therefore there is no demand for them...

I just came back from Laguna Seca last weekend and the SPEED World Challenge Mazdas, Acuras, and other cars were using Moton, Ohlins, and Koni shocks.

Its just that since they are a universal design (spherical ends on both sides) you'll have to go custom. The rears are easy to adapt with some sort of welder to make a bracket. As for the fronts.... that's a different story

I have Tein Basics with 18" Rims and 235/40 tires. I live in Queens and they ride better than my old set up: Eibach and KYB GR2. What people don't seem to understand is that if you set the Coilovers too low and expect them to ride like a luxury car, you are sadly mistaken.

I had to adjust my Teins three times before I got the right height and ride quality I wanted. I had them set to 6 (threads from the bottom) in front and 4 in the back, the car was too bumpy and unstable but slammed. Now, I've got em on 12 front and back, while it is not slammed, it rides and handles great. The drop is perfect too, not slammed and not 4x4.

I did a lot of research before buying the Teins, and for the money and quality, Boss Chens is the only other option that comes close. If Larrio had them at the time I would've gotten them, but Tein is a great fit for my 97 Se.

Ground Controls and Koni's will do it when set up correctly but not when you're slammin' the car.

Sorry about posting this listing. NICO says they are pretty bad.
