Vibration on braking

I'm having an issue that I can't seem to pinpoint. I initially thought it was just the tires and they were wearing funny but it seems to not be the case.

When I brake to a stop, I can hear and somewhat feel vibration coming from the front end. The pads look fine and, as far as I can tell, the calipers look fine. There is a dark circle on the driver side front that appears to be burn in. That leads me to believe this may be a warped rotor issue?

The vibration does not vibrate the car all that bad but it is definitely noticeable and audible.

I checked the front tires and there does not appear to be any abnormal wear.

Struts have been replaced with used Illuminas and they are set to "3". Replaced by reputable installer and had a front alignment done after the install.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the input.

Any idea if the calipers need to be replaced?

One other thing, my brakes squeal in the morning when I first get going and eventually it goes away. But eventually, they cool down and squeal all over again. Looks like I'm going to replace my rotors, pads, add ss lines and replace the fluid. I was just wondering what the cause of that condition could be. Could it be the warped rotors or some other problem?

Thanks again!!

It could/most likely your pads. If you get ****ty pads they will squeek like hell. Just get some OEM ones or some Hawk HPS. People say they are really good. For rotors go for the Brembo Blanks (That what I have). Your calipers are fine. If anything the rear calipers are the ones that sieze up. When your are changing your pads push the piston to see if it is still good. If not your going to need new calipers aswell. One more thing if you do change your calipers make sure you change both sides, because from what I read it can cause un-even braking

Thanks A32. I'm gonna do the in the group buy along with the pads, ss lines and brake fluid. Does the piston being able to be pushed in indicate a "good" piston?

Changed all four rotors and pads. The problem doesn't seem to have gone away. Looks like it's on the passenger front. I know what new rotors and pads sound like and the other 3 corners sound fine. When I'm rolling, I can hear uneven friction. It's more pronounced when I apply the brakes. Sounds like a lopsided ball rolling. Any ideas? I'm thinking maybe a slightly bent axle? I'm going to check the fronts again to make sure the rotors are even on the mounting bolts.

Green - How much work's involved if I do that myself? I can't remember but does the axle nut spin? If not, I'm thinking it should be relatively quick? Thanks for the input!!

Just found out the bearings are pressed in. That alone will cost $176 to remove and replace it. I was thinking about removing the hub myself and having the shop remove and replace the bearings. Shop wants $502 for the for the whole thing. Can a new hub be purchased with the bearings already installed?

If it's kind of like a reverberating humming ("vum-vum-vum-vum") and the car isn't really shaking then it's probably the wheel bearing. If it's actually shaking the car then you might have a slightly bent hub.

Jack up that corner of the car and see if you can push the wheel around, front to back or up and down. If there's any play in it then your wheel bearing is shot. If not then chances are it's probably a different issue.

Which rotors and pads did you end up purchasing? I know I need to change my rotors, and probably the pads as well, and any input on the group deals would be helpful. Thanks!
