Z32 bbk pins from nissan no work....

I misplaced my old set of pins for my Z32 BBK, my friend happen to have a spare set of brand new pins that he was selling with his brand new kit so I borrowed it to make my brakes work, well installed the sucker and they were too short! I was like WTF? My initial thought was he bought/has pins made for a NA Z32 caliper so I went online and did some research... from what courtesy nissan, pins for both calipers NA/TT were the same. So I called up local Nissan dealership, specified that I needed a retaining pin for a Z32 TT caliper, overnighted it and picked it today, just to make sure I asked the guy at the parts counter to verified that there wasn't a different part number which there was none. So I just went downstairs to test fit the pin and its the same thing, the pin is about 2mm too short! Is there a difference part number from the one that I have? The one is 41217-30P00 or did nissan messed up and made the replacements too short? Here are the pics:

that is not true. there ARE 2 different part numbers. dont ask for N/A or TT pins, just ask for pins for a 91 300zx cuz they all came with 30mm. even courtesyparts has 2 different part numbers. just drill a small hole in the one u have right now, it will do the trick since u have enough room.
