Is there a way to mod a standard rear strut to accept a standard 2.5" Spring. Or is there a part I can purchase? I plan on using a 8" ERS 380lb spring with a 4" Helper spring.

Yeah, by putting GC perches on it.
If you have not purchased already I have 7" 380s in my garage.
