Hex, that was me that made the clamps. I have still had slipping issues, however I only made 1 clamp for one side(1 of 4 that can be made), and my slipping was reduced by probably 50%. When I make all of them for both sides, I expect no slipping.

And even if the strut has the same diameter, the thread pitch may be different.

darn. oh well. these still seem to be fairly good coilovers. I hope that they start making some for the maxima soon.

I second on seeing something for the third gen; unfortunately I know it would never sell. The only dedicated third gen members are still trying to fix certain problems so I couldn't see Agility making a profit selling these for the third gen. Would be a nice thing to see though.

Agility has just contacted me with the following info:

We are working on a pricing structure for the Maxima applications, as well as application specifics.
This looks like they are going to be seriously considering us for this project, at a very affordable price. Lets keep the interest going....

If you are seriously interested in these and would like to see them made, please include a link to this thread.

Awesome dave! I would like to see them made for sure, and would be interested in a set way down the road. For sure I could peddle a few of these as well, you know my style, but only if they are way superior to the k-sports, which clearly they are/will be.

I remember there being a link to a shock dyno, what happened to that?

Also no digressive damping no care

But seriously where's the shock dyno?

As am I, we should be next on the list to hopefully be developed.

I am totally getting a set obviously I really can't wait to be a set of reliable coilovers.

Everyone needs to help spread the word...so you all should add it to your sig to help promote and make more people aware of the Agility coilovers

Any chance of a non-pillow ball option that uses stock style mounts? For example, like the Tein Super Streets. Just curious.

I'm currently contemplating Konis + GCs or Eibachs, but from the other thread, it seems more work to get them right than I can afford now, in terms of time and money.

I might be in, depending when they release the Maxima's one, I would prefer non pillow ball mount as they have tendency of making a lot of noise just like the D2 design.

Alright I got an email from them a while back and they said they can get the ball rolling on this now (and we would see a product within 10-12 weeks) if we can get 5 people from each gen to put down a downpayment of $200. Lets get a list going of who can immediately put down $200 to get the ball rolling.

5th Gen
1. DaveVQ
2.
3.
4.
5.

4th Gen
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

I'm going to get them to enter in on this thread and give real specifics on the full setup of these.

Hi DaveVQ, if the agility doesn't come with pillow ball I'm in. Otherwise I'm getting JIC coilover.

Cheers

Hello All,

We now carry Agility coilovers and they say they can produce 5th gen Maxima coilovers, please contact me at info@torqdorx.com as we are looking for a customer to test fit. Can be with or without pillowballs.

Thanks
Drew

I finally bought the JIC VIP, since I never had news about the Agility availability.

So if the price point is the same as the K-sports, D2's and Tein SS, then one should assume the quality of materials used is the same. Only the features will be different. So should we expect better performance or just less maintenance?

A lot of their info has been posted within this thread, better performance and less maintenance. We carry mainly better JDM brands and don't carry KSport and D2's for a reason.

Thanks
Drew
