Even with the Konis at full firm this is underdamped.

But man oh man is it an improvement.

Shove off

Huge improvement shortening the Konis and raising the spring rates... pillowball mounts are secks although I'm kind of iffy on the retaining nuts... I've checked em every time I went driving to make sure they haven't budged and so far, so good.

Those Stillen or KTS camber plates? they look identical in color and design to the plates on my KTS coilovers for the 240.

and in fitment ?

is there just no hope for camber plates other than stillens? surely there's another car out there whose camber plates would fit an A32, no?

oh yeah, those are stillen plates.

Dunno on fittment. the KTS for my 240 fit great and perform just as well. I do know for a fact the upper mounts are a slightly different bolt pattern on the 240. been there, done that, tried to stick a 240 mount on my Maxima. (and all 3-4-5 gens use the same bolt pattern and just about same track width... I run a 5 gen FSTB on my VE and it bolts right up.)

Then again, drilling a couple 3/8" holes in the fender well to mount a camber plate for a scooby, 240, bimmer, or whatever isn't hard. measure, mark, measure again, mark again, drill. I redrilled my strut towers on my car a couple times to allow for more camber and caster using the factory upper mount.

So theoretically, an A31 cefiro camber plate would work....do you think there's any reason the bolt pattern would be different than an A31 Max?

i'm not 100% on this, maybe matt or others will know, but i believe the a31 pattern is different (same as s or z chassis i believe, seems like i've seen some cross compatibility before). the a31 cefiro is not equivalent to the 3g maxima.

figures...isn't the a31 cefiro RWD? I guess that would explain it...

A31 and S13 share front suspensions IIRC.

that guy has them listed as 89-94 a31 cefiro AND maxima. either they both share the same bolt pattern, or this guy is smoking crack. But isn't this the guy that sells the jwt knockoff cams? I thought he was pretty reputable...

my guess is he just assumed that since it was an a3* chassis there was a maxima equivalent. just a guess but i wouldn't spend $90 to find out he was wrong in this case (and i'm good for buying stuff that may work).

my thoughts exactly, but I may try and convince him to let me test it and see, at least at a discounted price. he could benefit from it because then he'd know wether or not he was falsly advertising!

I don't feel like putting forth the effort though because it'll most likely end up being a waste of time.
