HELP*********Compatibility question********

Does anyone know if lowering springs from a 3rd gen will fit on my 4th gen? Really need an answer on this thanks guys.

nope. not a chance. completely different suspension setup. springs are drastically different lengths and diameters, both front and rear.

The fronts are not that far apart. The springs seem to be the exact same diameter and free length is close. Have you ever tried swaping any of the parts around? Im going to be doing some testing with the 3rd gen front struts and springs on my 4th gen. The struts bolt right on once the 2 holes are enlarged. Sounds dumb I know, but Im trying to lower the car with stock parts. I all ready know how to do the rear.
