q45 caliper relocation bracket

does ANYONE know of someone making or selling the relocation bracket for a 4th gen with the q45 setup.. it's a bit of a hassle having to find someone to shave 8mm of the outter diameter everytime i have to get new rotors. :banghead:

use s14/z33 track brackets w/ 6g rotors.

Would this work with the Z32 calipers as well?
Something like this....

But those are for the Cobra rotors correct?
I know Matt sold blehmco, but curious if they still sail the brackets.
Will have to PM him

It was said and I was under the impression, and don't quote me, that the ones Jeff sells works with both Q45 and the Z32 calipers and that rotor didn't matter. Brackets were made so the calipers would align properly, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Brackets

Jeffs brackets can be used with the Z32 and the Q45 calipers, but are made to only be used with the Cobra rotors.

Correct. I do have a few sets in stock still.

If you want to use the smaller Q rotors with the Q45 calipers, it's easier to get the rotors shaved. The amount of adjustment is so small that it would be pretty hard to design a bracket that accomodates only a few mm while maintaining the same nissan rotor offset.

+1 would these work?

Jeff92se 04-25-2011 04:16 PM

Bolt holes are ever so slightly off as the FWD nissans does not = RWD nissans in caliper/rotor fitments. It this difference that makes us have to shave the rotor in the 1st place. This might work to get a bigger rotor but you'd still have to shave the bigger rotor.

k i have your dogbone brackets jeff but i need to know if i absolutely need some hub rings... i keep seeing yes and no in all this research

Jeff92se 04-27-2011 01:37 PM

It was too hard for my machine shop to make those hub rings. Since then, Automax has been redrilling a set of Nissan sized stud holes in the Ford Cobra rotors. I haven't read any problems from centering the rotors using this method. So this is the solution I point everyone too.

automax is a member here or a place?

Jeff92se 04-29-2011 09:11 AM

He's a member here and has the rotors for sale in the group deal section
