What is the technology that the instruments on the SE change color automatically at night? How does it do it?

The technology is all in the paint. It knows when there is light and shall choose to display white. When the paint detects darkness, it magically becomes dark. Since I am an underground employee at nissan, that is all I can tell you otherwise they will track me down and sue me for releasing their trade secrets.

rotflmao...I just had to say it...If you look closely to the se panel at night itz still WHITE!!!!!!! The fact that there is NO light behind it makes it appear dark. On the markers, they made those transparent and put a light behind them. Hope this helps.
