VQ35 Secret Sauce manifold nearing completion.

They will be ready for sale with a core trade in before the big track meet. I am releasing a few of them in stage 1 form to my test mules for evaluation. There will be more to announce on this once the final pieces of the puzzle come together and I am certain most will be happy with the results.

This is the mod that made my car put down 249 fwhp and allowed me to run 13.19 @ 107.33 on slicks with no power adders. It does take away the very low end torque you'll feel at 1-2k RPM but it does make power all the way upto the redline and the engine will feel quite explosive at about 4500 with headers. I hope that the final product will yield more than my previous 249 fwhp with my current setup. I 'might' make official claims once the product is ready for the market but expect it to add an honest 10-15 whp over your current peak.

I suppose I was mistaken to think that everyone aready knew about it. It was already nearing completion but then I read something today that gave me a swift kick in the behind.

I haven't tallied the final yet. But it will be inexpensive in relation to the amount of power it will make.

Maybe a dumb question, but will the 3.0 guys be able to use it at all? 249fwhp is amazing!

I would be probably one of your first customers to get this mod. But you said you wanted a core charge? So estimation, how long would this process take? After everything gets shipped out, VAIS getting secret sauced, then coming back? Oh yeah do you need both the upper and lower intake manifolds?

Man...you'll definitely be in the 13s with this mod and other bolt ons....and especially with a raised rev limiter from an ECU.....I bet you'll be pushing more than 250fwhp

If he's doinga core charge, that would mean you pay for the new manifold, as well as a "core charge." You get the new part and install it. Then you ship your stock manifold back to him. Once he gets your stock part, he refunds your "core charge." So it's basically a fully refundable deposit.

The VQ30DE (K) people will have to wait for something else which I will work on once I get this off the ground. The VQ35 parts aren't going to bolt up to the VQ30 heads, otherwise it would be much simpler.

I still have to figure out exactly how I am going to handle the trade in policy. At first I am going to sell them slowly so I can see what works best and listen to all of the feedback and tailor the process to please as many as I can.

There is also another supplemental addition to the IM that I'll annouce once it is complete.

im bouncing back and forth between the G35 forum and this one. the G is the dream that might happen, the maxima is a reality that probably will happen, and it would DEFINITLEY be nice to be able to take down these Zs and Gs...and maybe some of those damn SRT-4s!

I know I am not a 3.5 owner, but for those who do get the first prototypes, will they be able to get a fixed version or final version of the released design? It would suck that the person who gets the very first IM has a sucky one compared to the people who get the fixed final edited version.

I know its early yo figure this out but just throwing ideas around till you get to that point. Godd luck and I hope this brings you much sucess.

Good stuff man. Can't wait to buy the product! Also, best of luck with figuring out the core charge part. I used to manufacture/rework TB's for the 4.7L Dodge Dakota engines, so if you want any insight into the process, let me know. I'm pretty sure the IM is a bit more to buy up front, though (compared to the TB's)...
