Wow! An all motor forum! My setup is:

WSP Cold Air Intake
WSP Ypipe
WSP Testpipe w/ electric cutout
ASP Under Drive Pulley
Maximum Tuning Valve Body Recalibration
Edge Racing 2500 stall torque converter www.edgeracingconverters.com
Ported throttle body and matched intake
Fully ported upper and lower intake manifold
Ignition timing advanced 5 degrees
Mazda Millenia wheels with 205/50R15 BFG G-Force Drag Radials
Weight reduction of 180lbs

And a bunch of stuff that didn't make me any faster in the 1/4 mile. I just listed the stuff that helped my track times noticably. Check out my website for a full mods list, pictures, and videos of my car.

Ive got Intake, Greddy sp2 exhaust, Grounding kit, SWA UPD, waiting for cattman to release the 04 headers. Oh yeah im picking up a SAFCII local this week for 165 brand new. I dunno who im gonna get to wire this thing up, I know that no 04 maxima owners are using it but im sure it would wire up the same as an 02 altima or maxima. Glad to see we have an All motor forum!!

I thought this section was for discussion of cars with more than basic boltons... not for everyone to post their I/Y/E setups?

Yeah, there's not many Maximas out there with cams and stock 3.5 bottom end. How about port work, valve jobs, tranny swaps, engine swaps, high stall torque converters, flywheels, weight reduction, etc? I completely understand cold air intakes, Ypipes, mufflers, and other very basic popular bolt ons.

i had someone assemble my block/heads and time everything. other than that i'm capable of everything except an alignment. i've pulled the motor (now on 2 VEs) and i'll be swapping the transmission for a stronger one in the spring sometime, assuming this one makes it through the winter. if it doesnt i'll be swapping sooner

I do all my own work, including building engines. I rely on machine shops to clean up blocks though .

Allignment is the only thing I cant do, I can get close, but I still have a lifetime allignment to make sure things are perfect. Oh and Glass, I dont think I'll be attempting that anytime either.

I know Jeff and Pat are the same way

So you're using a 3.5 motor with a 3.0 Head... or Mevi head?
Also are going to custom fit the 3.5 Cams?... or do they fit directly on?

yes 3.5bottom 3.0 heads on top, with MEVI.
the 3.5 cams I had to buy some spacers from JWT they fit just fine.

Actually I'm lookin to get this, even if I had to have some of it modified to work:

JWT ECU
JWT Cams (kit)
JWT Fuel Injectors
Headers
Y-Pipe
2" or 3" piping
Stock muffler or look alike (Borla/Magna Flow/Flow Master)

Looking for:
High compression Piston kit (Heads, rods, rings)
Higher stall rate Torque converter
Fuel Rail

Researching:
Will 3.5 Bottom End motor can fit onto VQ30DE Head
Fit 3.5 Bottom End with MEVI head (if this is possible I might just get the ECU with bigger fuel injectors and fuel rail and not the cams)
