Hows the 3.5 working out in the 3.0 ?

Well I feel like a real newbie since i havent been following it much now, but i am now thinking of doing it.
Hows it running?
Having any problems?
Has it passed inspection?

Thanks

sorry for the igorance and all but you used the 3.0 block with the rods pistons, rings, crankshaft from the 3.5 right? did you need to transfer the crank position sensor or did you use the 3.0 one? same oil pan right?

not the pistons, he used 3.0 pistons, he would have to bore the block to use the 3.5 pistons. Which I think he should do................... Because he is really not getting very high trap speeds.

he used the 3.5 crank and rods, and the 3.0 pistons correct? If so please stfu. That is what I said, I was saying he should use the 3.5 pistons because it doesn't seem like he is getting very high trap speeds.

He changed the entire block that's it.

Also, the reason Tilley is getting low trap speeds (~99 mph, almost 100), is most likely because of the restrictive 3.0 heads and intake manifold.

Unfotunately my computer sucks and I can't get it to be any bigger. I see the curves well but not quite the numbers. What's the peak torque and hp?

I really think you would be trapping higher with 3.5 upper end, considering your weight and mods, even without Variable Timing Control.

Its fairly simple aslong as you are mechanically inclined and have knowledge of putting the motor together.
