Which head can I put on the 4th gen to Increase the CR?

 

Well to increase CR 3.5 bottom and 3.0 heads will do it but it sounds like you want to keep your bottom so in that case I don't know of any head that you could put on to increase the CR. Try getting higher CR pistons.

 

Nismo sells one, but it costs around $3K with all the VK45 Ti valves/Nismo springs.

Won't work with VQ30 lower intake manifold though.

Oh I forgot about nismo but rumors are being said that Top Secret also is working on a VQ35DE HEAD High CR or Low CR....

 

Well I spoke with some people at Bulletproof Automotive and they say Top Secret is doing something with the G35 skyline Jspec Heads which they will not reveal exactly what but he said expect them to come out with a kit of some sort. Also just an Update on the 2007 Skyline they are in fact building the r35 and it is an AWD TT V8 based on the G35 platform of course, which they are working on within a year from now they will post pictures of this beast @ TopSecretjpn.com .

 

you might wanna add that its Top Secrets own creation, as far as VK45DE engine swap into the G35 chasis- or Skyline 350GT in Japan. Nissan is doing a VQ32DETT in the next GT-R.

 

Yeah it is Top Secrets own but Nissan is keeping there eyes on it. Nissan has issues with the head design and Top Secret has the remedy...
