has ANYONE DONE THIS

has anyone put in a complete 3.5 and bolted on an HKS or greddy dual exhaust for the 350Z and Greddy twin turboed it into a 4th gen?? thats my plan for the next few months

what do u mean i am not trying to be a dumb newb i really want to get a 3.5 from a Z dropped in my car with 2 ecu's one for interior and one for motor i want to do all necessary work to twin turbo it and see if i can get it to run can someone with some knowledge in this tell my if this is possible please

Okay. Let's work this out.

1) How is the dual exhaust from a n/s oriented engine going to fit an e/w oriented engine?

Please don't kill it though. It's very helpful to a lot of people here (myself included) and MOST of the time the discussions are interesting.

I'll admit that it's ironic that if you scroll to the last page, the very first post this forum had was "wut cold air intake should i get?". It think it was intentional though.

The Greddy will fit, just stick out a good 8' or so in the passenger side direction.

You could use it like a side steps like trucks have... just put some heat wrap on there and you will have no trouble at all.

Yeah, anything is possible. Nissan even converted my car to wrong wheel drive for only $27k.

This won't work because the Z's block is different than the 3.0 or 3.5 max block-the motor mount bolt holes are in a different location.

However, the Z's exhaust manifolds and the Greddy turbo manifolds will infact bolt to the head of any VQ engine-not taking into consideration any clearance issues with the PS pump, etc.
