Next Best Mod?

ok guys, im trying to go N/A again, but the first time around, i never really finished it.
So far i have intake, ypipe and catback.
What should be my next best mod performance wise after these 3 things?
Trying to figure out what to get next but dont know which mod will be best.
thanx guys.

The cat-back doesn nothing except for sound, the intake does minimal, but the y-pipe is the only real N/A mod you have. You should already know this by now, but what should be on your next N/A mod list is a VI/ECU w/ extended rev limiter, but you already knew that I hope, so why the post?

The next big step up... VQ35 + headers. That's, what, 65-70whp?

Say he's putting down 170whp right now. A 3.5 with headers certainly puts down more than 215-220whp.

well of course i already knew this, ypipe is the only real N/A mod on my max, but just listed the other things that i do have.
but anyhow, i was thinking about getting the mevi and ecu, but dont have money for both right now, only one.

which one will give me best performance by itself, ecu or mevi?

ECU IMO .. With only the MEVI, you don't gain much on average, unless you have the extended rev limiter. The MEVI w/o ECU is fun though.

mevi gives us high end horsepower that we dont have right?
if ecu gives us a higher rev limiter, wouldnt it be pointless because we will be loosing power towards redline?

The ECU w/ Stock USIM = better midrange torque as well as an extended rev limiter. TS will give you the torque, but not the added revs unless you're auto, but ther are still afew bugs that need to be worked out on the TS reve limter removal side, deezo has it in his car.

cool. i have heard that it will give you a CEL if you put it on a 97 since the ecu is actually made for the 95-96 maximas. Or did they make one for a 97 now?
will this cause me to fail smog?

If you care to try your hand on an 00vi, you can keep your midrange and gain topend.
