quick help with 00VI

Do you have to use a paper or metal gasket for the composite upper intake manifold??

Some one told me that you cannot use a silicone based one(stuff from tube) because the upper intake is a composite material not metal. is this true? I would rather use stuff from a tube but if it is harmful.... guess it is time to goto the dealer....

We used the stock rubber gasket.

The upper has a rubber gasket and you can get it from the dealer for about $3.
