00VI vs. 01VI

Hey, new to the motor forum. Have a question. I'm looking to get and install a 00VI, found an 01VI for sale, are they the same? Is there a benefit to one over the other?
Thanks in advance!!!

they're both the same...no difference between the 2.

I believe you can also use the VI from the 00/01 Infiniti I30 as well...not 100% though

some 00 VI will have an additional plug for the swirl control. those would be the cali spec and all 2k1 VI have this on the box. the 00 VI that do not have this are fed spec. i would guess that you could just plug up right one (swirl control vacuum).

It doesnt matter which one you get, cali or fed, 2000 or 2001, infiniti VI should be the same thing...

you can just remove the cali stuff off the VI like I did.

the cali VIAS has the extra vacuum for the swirl valves, you can just leave it unplugged.
