00vi bolts and whatnot

I bought an 00VI setup without the bolts needed to connect the upper and lower halves of the manifold. I (naively, as I found out) figured I'd be able to pick them up at the dealer without a problem. As you might have guessed, they've been on backorder for over a week now.

Anyone have any suggestions on where I might be able to find them other than a dealer? Any online part shops that should have them?

Thanks.

I used bolts from a hardware store.

It depends if you are using the 00' lower IM, if you are then you can get them at the dealer, if you are rotating the stock lower IM, get bolts at a hardware store that will do the job .

er, hold on. Back up a second.

I'm rotating the 4th gen. lower IM. Will the bolts I ordered from the dealer still work for that setup? I'm assuming so, but I want to be sure. They came in to the dealer the day after I made this post, but I've been out of town so I haven't even gone to pick them up yet.

No, the OEM bolts will be too small in diameter. They are 6mm and the 4th gen lower IM is tapped for 8mm. Keenserts/helicoils will solve your problem.

mchne, your modified LIM is keenserted, so the oem 6mm bolts are what you need.
