Exclamation Emanage Ultimate, or SMT 6

I'd like to create this thread so people can chime in and give ideas on engine management systems.

I'm an interested in obtaining the SMT-6 or the EU, or any other preferred, and tested EM system out there.

I read in Chris'smax thread that the SMT-6 actually uses the CAM and CRANK signals to fool the ecu, whereas the EU actually does something called post-ecu.

I would like to know which system would be most beneficial. My objective is to advance timing, and preferrably for now stay N/A. Which benefits would I have choosing the EU over the SMT or vice versa? Do both do the same thing? All input, ideas, comments are welcome.

EU, not other reason to get smt6 or smt7, well, they might be priced lower. Do we need another EU or smt thread though, there are too many as it is. All the questions you asked have been answered in previous threads.

yeah, I don't look at dates. All I know is that it had new posts and I knew I needed to say something negative. Mike tells me not to call him stupid but then he does stuff like this.

the smt7 is already out isn't it? Either way, the EU is what I'll get, whenever I decide I need it.

From a mere support standpoint I seriously doubt anything is going to beat the EU for now.
