I'll be doing the final tuning on a dyno when I get around to it. I'm still not sure what I'm going to use for management, since this JWT ECU is pissing me off. I've hated it since the day I installed it. It advances timing too much and runs too rich. (12.5 at WOT.. needs to be closer to 13.0 for best N/A power). there's another 20hp or so in it just from fixing that, but JWT refuses to even program it to run that lean.
So I'm going back to a stock ECU for now and hopefully Ash will have an Ash-Spec ECU done soon for it, or I'll go with Greedy or Apexi toys. I hate using piggybacks, but it may be the only choice I have.

Just to give you an update on my Ash-SPEC Zemulator project, Ash is being slow about this. REALLY slow! Eveything works right now as we speak! But Ash just needs to put it all together and make the very minor changes to the program code and it will work.Originally Posted by Matt93SE

I've already gotten everything to work with chip burning. But I refuse to do that since the Zemulator is on the horizon and hexidecimal code is such a pain to tune with. I bet it would help Ash to get motivated with this project if he gets an email from anybody that is really interested in buying his product once it's released.

Aaron, when was this update on the Ash stuff?
I talked to him via IM probably 3 weeks ago, and he said he was waiting on some 16bit parts to finish development and then he had to make a board and whatnot for it. it was going to be months before he was done based on my last discussion with him. ????

This was on Jan 12th when I talked to him last. I know the 16 bit parts he needs to finish this up. They are easy to come by.Originally Posted by Matt93SE

But our projected time to finish this project has been "a few months" for the past 3 or 4 years when we first started doing this. But things always come up. We have been taking it one step at a time since the beginning.
But he has it working, he just needs to put everything together. He's been going through some crap lately (death in family and being very sick for a little while). So he's slowly getting back into the work routine.
But before releasing a final product, it will ATLEAST be several months. He wants everything fully tested on the dyno before releasing it.
yeah, that's fine and dandy. seems what he told me and what you told me somewhat contradicted each other at first. now it makes more sense.
