Anyone used a jet vforce control module?

I am trying to get gather information on the jet vforce control module. from what I have found they say it controls advance timing and a/f. Anyone use it on their max? if so let me know if you thought it was worth the 230 from custommaxima.

all I hear is bad news about this company, even the chevy boys hate them, in a chevy mag somebody order one for a ls1 vette and they opened it up and found out all they did was put a resitor on the ecu board to make it thinks the car was in wot mode and dump more gas, now will they do this to you also who knows but I do not have 230 buck to play with

it's just I dont want to buy crap!...... this unit is not a plug and play unit from what I understand. If you go to custommaxima and look under performance its there. I feel more comfortable with a vafc if my max needs it but I need dyno tuning, what drew my INTERESTto the unit was the control of timing (advance and retard) as well as a/f control. But..... if no one has used it and the research shows that it is indeed crap then no choice but to can the idea for it.on the other hand if apex offers a unit that controlls timing and af ( aside from vafcII) then I am all in.

Next question,
E manage- how much and where to find it ? best thing for a vq30?

I know one guy bought the jet piggyback unit for his 2001 max and he say it did not do anything he even went to the dealer and they confirmed this system will not work for HIS model and year and that it may work on a 95-96
I was also looking into the jet unit but could not find anything good about it
right now I am seeking info on the ts ecu since jwt said it will take 6 weeks to get my ecu back

Doesn't that give a CEL? only problem is it alters your fuel curves permanently and when you get the car inspected ,your e/g will more than likely fail in NJ. Good thing though the rev limiter is raised up!!!

I was looking into smt6 or possibly vafcII. so I can turn them off when I run emissions or lean out the curves or run them rich if I have to. At least then with these I have control over what happens, also get the car dyno tuned so then I won't have to change a thing just turn the thing on and off There are so many options you can work with it all depends on what you want to do t. Hey let me know if you do the ecu reflash.

very good point t. the add-on cost of a second ecu on top of the cost of the jwt ecu reflash? just curious. I have heard of the cel though with a reflash on certain cars I don't recall if maximas were involved.
