I asked this question a couple weeks ago in the 4th gen forum but didn't get a response so maybe someone in here can help me. I am going to do the 00VI swap hopefully this coming weekend. I have everything I need except for a throttle position sensor for the 5th gen throttle body. Is it possible to use the 4th gen TPS in a 5th gen TB? If not, anyone know where I can find one without it costing more than the TB itself?

 

i think autozone carries them, much cheaer than dealer.

 

Yeah I know I checked autozone and they want $120. Some discount nissan parts site had it for $100 plus shipping. I found a local junk yard selling the whole TB for $100 but I don't need the whole thing just the TPS unless the 4th gen TPS will fit. Thanks anyway.

 

I need to look at my notes but I believe the 4th gen TPS does fit on the 5th TB other wise I would have had this item on my list to do for the install.

if oyu need a 5th gen tps i have one for sale from a parts car. i also have one from a 4th gen as well.

 

How much would you want for the 5th gen TPS? I will need it if the 4th gen TPS won't fit.

I looked through my notes and I have written down that you could use the 4th gen TPS on the 5th Gen TB. Hopefully someone could chim in to verify this but I think your read to go.
