What do you guys do about the coolant temp sensor. On my de-k there was a bung that the sensor screws into and on the 3.5 i can't seem to locate it. Is there one or did you guys just drill and tap a fitting?

You have to reuse your 3.0 coolant log.. The one which connects to both heads on the side.

fugging ****. Was that in any of the other threads becuase if so i missed that one! Is that the only reason for using that coolant log or is there something else that requires you to use the 3.0 one.

Don't remember seeing that at all in all the threads I've read on the 3.5 swap. Looks like I need to start all over

I first noticed it when I looked at the 3.5 water log and saw only 1 sensor bung. I also don't think this is in any of the threads!

yea if you don't mind that would be awesome. Doing that sounds much easier than switching out the coolant tube.

I don't get how swapping out the coolant tube seems like a big mission considering that installing the 3.0 timing covers and chains/sprockets is 10 x's more labor-intensive.

Tell me about it. I'm on my 3rd set of motor mounts, 5th intake manifold (between two different motors), second ECU, second wiring harness, second coolant log, second radiator, the list goes on and on.
