tps setup





I got a video of the car running and the tps working. I car runs fine just splutters at lower rpm. Maybe it's because i'm lacking an IACV? also maybe because it's not running so well due to my major vaccum leak?

Sounds like the valve timing is still off. That's why i suggested doing a compression test. That would confirm it.

i can guarantee that the timing is not off. I have checked double checked and checked again...but i'll do a compression test anywayz.

I'm not doubting that the timing was on point when the timing chain cover was put on. But the timing chain can jump teeth if the tensioners aren't seeing enough oil pressure for whatever reason. Have you verified the timing being correct with a timing light?
