My installer pretty much abandoned the idea of installing the V-AFC II on my 2004 Maxima. They stated it wouldn't work because it's only compatible with hot wire vehicles and not MAF sensor vehicles like mine. Can anyone point me to a write up on how to set it up?

1. Maxima MAF's have a hot wire element.
2. The V-AFC II was made primarily for honda's with VTEC and they use absolute manifold pressure sensors, not hot-wire type MAF's to determine the airflow.

This S-AFC II install must be kickin' their a$$!!! 2 full days with the car and they're still having problems. The latest they tell me is that the S-AFC is wired up correctly but the car is still running extremely rich and will not idle. When the SES light does come on it throws an error code that the engine it misfiring. They've already replaced 3 spark plugs.
