How to: Hook up 00VI ??

How does it go ?? When I had my MEVI, I had an external Vaccum tank that I used that was wired to the seleniod and then to the manifold.

Without that, Im confused. Theres three lines going out of seleniod, and one main line coming of the manifold.

Can someone shine some light on this for me. kinda confused. I have the RPM switch wired up through my emange ultimate. I just need help on the vaccum line running for the seleniod.

if you have the rpm switch wired up and the manifold installed, you're done. the actuator for the vias gets its vacuum from inside the manifold, no external vacuum source required. the small port on the vias assembly can be left open, its simply venting the non-vacuum side of the diaphragm as far as i can tell.

Sorta but not really. The vac tank is internal on the VI but you still have to run a vac line from the nipple on the VIAS to the mid pipe.

Some run it to the mid-pipe and some just leave it open.

Anyone know that part number of the connecter for the built in seleniod on the 00VI ?? Someone said they sell the connector at Radio Shack ??

That is correct. Whether you want to run it to the intake tract to give it a source of filtered air or not is up to you.
