Vq32?!?!
The newest retrofit of the VQ35DE...
So i bought Modified MAG today and they have an old R32 Skyline with some rare VQ35DE with cams, pistons, nismo valvetrain, ported/polished etc. This monster is rear wheel drive with LSD. The engine is paired with a 350z 6spd tranny. It's running N/A with 354hp/296lb torque.
You can check out a preview to that issue at www.modified.com
I was pretty amazed with this. The engine and tranny mounts were all made fron scratch and the engine looks UNREAL!!!! I might have read this wrong but they were saying that it has 6-throttles and 2 air boxes. The car is very tastefully done.

Short-stroking an already short-stroke engine FTW.
$6k intake with trumpets on individual throttle bodies FTW.
R32 Skyline > *
Wonder what the redline is...
EDIT: Wait, did they short-stroke it?

There are a few reasons the hr revs higher. The two that I remember are it's longer connecting rods (meaning higher deck height and different block) and a stiffer bottom portion of the block.
