Since I did the dek swap im now getting the knock code on the ecu. I did a full dek swap. I used the dek knock sensor. Im wondering if this will affect performance any! The dek sensor has a differant part# than the de knock sensor. Im sure that the dek knock sensor is good it only has 32,000 on it.

 

Go for the obvious: Change your knock sensor back to what you had in there before. Reset your ecu, watch the code go away. If that doesn't work, check your wiring.

 

yes, knock sensor will drastically screw up performance. just change it, its probably old anyway.

 

Make sure its fully plugged into the harness. I used the DEK knock sensor with my swap and no code.
