Torque specs for Rod Bolts??

Alrighty, just put in new APR rod bolts for the 3.5 but I have two torque spec one from ARP and the other from FSM.. which one should I go off of? They are relatively close but just wanna get an opinion. Thanks.

ARP: 28 ft-lbs 3 times
FSM: 14-15ft-lbs then 90-95 degree with a angle wrench

I would go with the specs from ARP. Its a different type of bolt with different capacities and tolerances, so ARP would know how to properly install their own bolts. I'd only follow the FSM in this case if I were using new OEM bolts, because then the procedure would apply, IMO

Use ARP's instructions. And use their lube exclusively, no oil.

And try to get yourself a real torque wrench. Not a $20 clicky kind.

This is the one I have

Already have them in, only used the lube that they provide. I only have a clicky wrench so I may have to buy a nicer one. I took pics so maybe i will post them sometime.
