Drop Resistor Mod question.....

ok i am planning on going to the track tonight and i want to disconnect my drop resistor for my tranny and was wondering if it would harm anything if I did that. I know it has to be wide open throttle but my other question is, is it better to manually shift with the resistor disconnected or leave it in D.....Please help me out, thanks

Jesus Christ man, 3 different threads? Are you effing serious dude?

Do multiple runs and see if shifting at 6550 is beneficial, or letting the car shift on its own is better (6k).

@3 threads.
