Can someone please explain to me how expensive it is to have a Automatic 6th Gen Maxima converted into manual transmission. I tried looking for this tread and had no luck. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide me with.

 

there hasnt been a conversion like this as far as i can recall for a 6th gen.

 

Yeah dont think this has been done. Be a pioneer!

 

I am thinking about being that "Pioneer". Looks like I'm gonna have to get a daily driver and start this project right before I put in the turbo...maybe I'll get a crotch rocket to save on gas. If anyone has any input on this let me know...

The 5AT and 6MT are pretty closely matched, so if I were you, I wouldn't even bother. Unless you have the horrid 4AT, that is a different story.

i have a 97 maxima se with an extra automatic trans case and wanted to convert that in to a manual trans. is that possible to do just wondering................... if anyone knows anything please let me know something i been wanting to get it converted to manual trans for a long time thakx
