hey guys, i rigged my pathy iacv to work with my 4th gen iacv plug but i took to much off and it wont stay securely together even with tape or other adhesives holding it. I was wondering if the pathy and any other cars share iacv setups so i could snag the harness plug from that vehicle and wire it to my car to have a proper plug n play setup going here.

i'm just looking for one more level of reliability with my 4.5 setup. any insight would be helpful.

also if anyone has that harness plug that would slide into the pathy iacv sensor let me know so i can buy it from them.

i think i just noticed that its possible that the pathy iacv and the 5th gen iacv use the same sensor and thus probably the same harness plug.

 

I actually have the same issue and have been running without my IACV for a while. I'm going to try a ziptie next.

 

Use the 3.5 IACV plug, or the 3.5 EGR plug, and it should plug right up. Most modification you'll have to do is shave/grind/cut down the plastic slot on one side of the plug as vipervadim demonstrated before my eyes this weekend, lol.
